im in the process of setting up a 75g and i found a scratch in the front glass of my tank. is there somthing i can fill this with to make it clear or rob it out?
thanks

Depends on how deep it is. There are scratch removal kits available on-line but could cost you over a $1000. They comprise of grinding stone for your drill, and various abrasive compounds. I had a few scratches removed (almost removed) from my 240 gal. The process takes a few hours of hard work - not to mention there is a risk of glazing the glass from excess heat generated by the procedure.....

So in a way what jrodrig692 said is somewhat true....:sad1:

IMO scratches are less noticeable once water is in the tank. You'll probably be the only one that ever notices it.

If the scratch in on the outside of the glass, not very deep, and on glass and not acrylic, you can fill it in with toothpaste. This doesn't necessarily fix it, but it really helps to mask it. If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, then it is probably too deep to fix.

Is it reef ready with an overflow? Just asking for the obvious reason -- if not just turn it around. :)

You're screwed. Don't feel bad my new 125 has one too. Toothpaste does work well on exterior scratches, and if it's interior as mentioned you'll be the only one who notices it once the water is in.
