Scratch on all glass

Ive just noticed a small scratch on my all glass aquarium. Its a very light one, but what type of problems can come of this. Ive heard you can only keep certain livestock if its scratched?

Wha? I've never heard of livestock limitations due to tank scratches. It's just cosmetic right?

Scratches won't harm livestock, unless it's deep enough to become a crack. I'd just ignore it. Some very light scratches can be removed by buffing, but often the treatment doesn't really improve the situation.
