Well,i was razorin' the glass on my 75g and noticed a couple of real nice scratches on the front pane! i just painted the back the other day,is there any way to buff out glass? I know this sound stupid, but i'm really POed about this and worst case sanerio i can scrape and paint the other side....grrr!

cant really buff glass out. thats the downside to glass, it can be scratched, and it cant be buffed.

should be hard to scratch though. howd you manage it?

Look into that windshield repair kit, They it covers holes in tanks like new. I would only be concerned about how toxic it is after it dried out. Maybe only choice.

If you can feel the scratches with your nail, I'm afraid they cannot be removed. There is a product available called jeweller's rouge (in the UK) which removes VERY fine scratches, but it's a long, tedious process, and is not very effective on deeper scratches.

You can sand and buff glass like you do with acrylic but it just takes a little longer time because glass is harder to sand than acrylic.
