Screen Net Over Rimless Tank

The Most Diabolical Hater
I have been trying to figure out how to install a screen top on my rimless tank. Does anyone have some ideas?

Home Depot sells a screen window kit that's plastic and can be cut to any length you need with a hack-saw. Just need the spline, spline-tool and some mesh. I got mesh from Reef Monsters but if the LFSs don't have it in stock, you can try BRS. It's a pretty simple project and lots of youtube videos out there....maybe even some reef related ones if you search around.

on a rimless, design it to recess into your tank 1/2 inch. Use small hooks to hold in in place. That looks much cleaner and you will like the result!

Some small L shaped pieces of plastic super glued on to the sides and back making a lip for the frame to sit on?

They sell this plastic at Homedepo

I have some of the screen Mark. the frame can be bought at many home improvement stores. they snap together.

Thanks for the offer Adam, I have the screen and the parts to build it. What I am trying to figure out is a clean way to cover the tank since I do not have the normal plastic rim.

Here are some more ideas from Bing search. I like the bottom idea.

Notice the bent plastic pieces holding the screen on top and flush?

You could put some adhesive backed velcro on the rim's top and screen's bottom.

That's what I've done for my DIY lids. I don't have a rimless but I do have a bunch of top bracing and dual corner overflows that make covering a real PITA.
