scribble vs reagal angel

Thinking about adding an angel to my 180 reef. I have narrowed it down to one of these any thoughts on one vs the other?

In my humble opinion, the Regal is more difficult to get eating unless you already know that it is. I have a few Regal angels right now and have unfortunately lost 3 before I was lucky enough to get my hands on ones that were eating.

I have also had a Scribbled and it was not that hard to get feeding from the start so I guess it comes down to which one you like the best!

well i have a regal so i would have to say regal, but i have a scribbled on order(paid for) so i would have to say scribbled

sorry i wont be much help on choosing between these 2 beauties thats why i have multiple tanks..lol

I think it comes down to what type of tankmates...is it aggressive or not. If not aggressive then I would go with a regal because over time the scribbled will become the dominant fish. If the mates are aggressive then I would stay away from putting a regal in.

Both are beautiful but as flying53brian said, the scribbled is easier to get eating (ime 5" or less) than a regal and I would definitely QT the regal till its eating well before putting into the DT if you decide to go with a regal.

both are beautiful fish, id say a regal tho because i have seen them in reef tanks and i think they are more reef safe...just get both. haha

So a 7inch scribble will be meaner than the same size regal?
