Last week I took a trip to the birch aquarium in La Jolla. I took some pictures of their brand new reef tank and other things. I got a chance to talk to one of the employees that set up the tank which was pretty interesting. My pictures didn't quite turn out because there were so many people at the aquarium so I had to jump in and get my shots when I could.

This tank is lit by three 1000w metal halides with T5 supplements

Nice pics. Love La Jolla. Got married there last October and we stayed at the Scripps Inn, it was very nice. We didn't have a chance to get to the aquarium.

Now I have an example to show my friends what I mean when I say the Steinhart Aquarium is kinda underwhelming!
