Anybody want some? I have 2 clumps to get rid of.
I'm not sure what the scientific name is, someone else called it scroll algae once when I asked what it is... well that was about 2 months ago and now I have a couple of good sized plants growing. One of them is actually above the water line at the top of my tank (softball size clump), the other is in a deeper location (baseball size clump). I'll get a picture of it later today.
It's kind of cool looking, tan colored overlapping scrolls with slightly fuzzy edges. Snails, hermits, and pods are having fun crawling around in it, but I just don't like where it's in my tank.
I don't know if it will survive shipping and/or continue to grow after being removed from the rock but I'll send it for shipping costs to someone who wants it. If you have some halimeda, or gracilara to trade that would be cool
