Just wondering how many SFL reefers were avid divers or snorklers. Seems that down here you would have to be, if so, what are the good spots around here? I did a beach dive just south of Atlantic ave. in Pompano beach, it was pretty nice, lots of stuff to see. Also, I love to spearfish, and if anyone needs a dive buddy let me know.

For beach dives, Lauderdale by the Sea is probably the best place around here. Take Commercial to the beach. There are lots of overhangs, caves, and lots of fish.

i have spent every weekend in the past 3 months either rod fishing or spearfishing, so yeah i guess you can say im an avid diver lol. i really only go down in key largo and occasionally out of Miami/Homestead though so i dont know where to go up by your area
