I posted some of my photos from a recent trip to the Bay Islands into the local club forum here on RC. Rather than repost the images (probably 100 images) I'll just provide you with the direct links to the threads. If you have any questions you can use this thread or their respective threads to post into. Thanks.

Thanks. Nikon 5700.

It's illegal to spearfish around Roatan and Utila :)

Yes, I know some DM's in Roatan are doing it already, but I'll leave breaking Honduran law to them. I like coming home after my hotel stay runs out if you know what I mean.

And so far even the DM's in Utila won't do it until they get word that it's not only acceptable but encouraged. Most shops have their spears on order and are ready - but are waiting.

With that said, it's already hopeless. The Lionfish is in the Caribbean to stay and there is nothing we can do to stop it. The eco-system will just have to find a new balance.

i like your photos, you got some nice macro shots. did you use any sort of strobe or was it just the nikon in the case? i use to use a canon but there was too much backscatter in my photos. so now i am getting a case for my d90 with 2 strobes.

Ikelite DS51 strobe.

Get the strobes as far away from your subject as possible to either side and angle the light back in towards the center of the frame. Should help eleminate back scatter.
