Very nice! Underwater photography is not easy!

My husband loves to take UW pics. I spot the critters and he takes the pics. Works good!

Thanks. Yea i was finding that out not to mention it causes me to go through a lot of air breathing in and out trying to get the right position and stabilized.

Here are some more

Well i think those are all the good ones.

Camera is an Olympus Stylus 720 SW with an underwater casing PT-033. No additional lighting or lenses.

Thanks after seeing some other peoples shots i think i already need to upgrade. Will have to wait awhile i spent to much on the scuba gear and the reef tank.

cool, nice pictures... yeah buoyancy controller eats up your air quickly but once you get used to it you actually get better at conserving your air on normal dives as well which is a plus.

What camera were you using? Do you do any post processing? You will be able to get a lot more detail out of some of those shots if you mess with them a little, especially the darker pictures. Also increasing the contrast can really help remove some of that salt water "haze."

Very cool.

Thanks for all the comments.

I haven't done anything with the pictures, i am not sure what to do. I only like underwater photography and since i just got the case i am pretty new to everything.

Nice shots...I use an Olympus C770 with an underwater housing. I posted some snorkling pics in the scuba and snorkle thread after a vacation to the DR. Do you have a dedicated flash for you underwater housing?

those are some great shots!!! man, the tank i would have if i lived near there. lol, i would have atleast a 300 gallon and i would gather myself all the corals i could ever want!!

Thank you all for the comments it was my first trip scuba diving and taking pics so i think i did ok.

No there is not a dedicated flash just the diffuser for the cameras flash.

I probably would not even bother with a tank if i lived there would just be swimming with them everyday.

Lowredranger, would you mind if I took a shot at some post-process work on your sea turtle pic (and a coral pic) for you to show you what could be done with it just for fun and re-post it here? (I won't without your permission of course, but it would be neat to see if we could get some of the blue saturation out.)

Great pics by the way! Looked like a fun trip! :)

Feel free just make sure you send me a copy back my wife wants to frame some of the pics. Do you need me to send it to you in an email or can you get it off here?

Thanks
Jason

I can work with what's on here...I'm somewhat new to working with post-processing and I haven't been anywhere tropical in while to take some pics to try. So, I'll give it my best shot and see what works!

Thanks for the practice, I'll post some stuff shortly for ya! JAM :)

Ok, here is my best attempt at getting rid of the blue cast in post-process. I even did a black & white of your turtle shot which looks really cool too. Great shot! Anyway, I hope you like them...if there is one you like best Lowredranger PM me your email address and I will send it to you for your wife.

Thanks for allowing me the use of your pics to practice.

....man, I gotta get somewhere tropical to dive SOON! LOL :)
