Love them and won't have powerheads in this next system so thinking maybe can finally get one??? But, if it runs into an anemone, what will happen?

thx!

Hopefully you didn't get the sea apple as they are filter feeders needing a specialized or a large and old/established aquarium. They can wipe out a tank when they die or if stressed.

theres many things that can wipe out a tank if stressed or killed. i have many cucumbers and thats never been an issue for me. if it's something you really want, read up on them and setup your aquarium properly and you should have no problems at all

As far as I know sea apples/cucumbers toxin (holothurin) is only poisonous for fish, so if you have no fish in that tank I think you´re safe.

As was said before, they are filter feeders, so please provide appropriate food. The people I know who keep them have massive, mature systems and don´t feed them separately/additionally, so I can´t recommend any food one could buy :-(
