im pretty sure they dont lose there toxicity.i wouuldnt keep one in my main tank. if i were to keep one i would set up a tank just for it, so if it died i wouldnt lose anything.
Amen. They tend to starve to death and when they die, it is bad news for the rest of your tank. Keeping them long term is considered quite difficult. Pretty though.
