Yea John, they are refered to as the "beautiful time bomb". If it does get upset or die everything in your tank will go by by nitey nitey, and take the saltwater sleep at the bottom on de sand bed.
I've never have one, just did a very small amount of research on them, after reading the same thread ( I'm guessing) that Tonblogna was talking about, I didn't really need to look any farther for a reason not to get one. It's knida like putting a Blue ringed Octopus in a 10g open top tank. It's not the wisest move, but hey people do it everyday. Even though you've had it for a year now ( you are such a lucky dog you) I'd take it back to the store ( or give it to either wewerehere or twizzlerman77 ) and be thankfull that you are a lucky old terd.
