Sea fan fragging. ?

Can I frag the sea fans just like any of the gorgs? I was thinking of just snip and mount a few branchlets to the rocks. Anyone have experience w/ them in particular. I have seen several people do the candelabras, but just curious about the fans (success/recovery etc.) before I go hacking.

Can do...just epoxy them on....base will overgrow eventually....
