I have a sea hare in my tank, previously <a href="http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=1136261">identified</a> on this forum as <i>Dolabrifera</i>. It was a hitchhiker on the rock, so it's been in there for about three months. Its normal routine is mainly to eat and poop. The poop usually looks like the sand (not to be gross here). But today he secreted a red liquid from the same, er, hole, as the poop comes from. Nothing was harrasing him and he doesn't seem to be acting weird. Is this normal? He's not putting out some toxic stuff as a defense mechanism is he? Thanks.
