Sea Hare

I have posted about this on other forums but I know some people only read this one.

I am trying to find a creature to eat Dictyota algae. I want to try a sea hare.

Will these eat Dictyota?

If anyone knows or has an experience please let me know!

There are lots of sea hares and their diets vary. They even vary quite a bit between individuals. I've kept a few of the smaller species and never had any that were interested and when my friend tried to feed it to her Dolabella, it wasn't interested either. Generally, brown algae like this are heavily chemically defended so not many species graze on them.

Man I hope the one that I pick up will eat this stuff. Does anyone else know if these things will eat dictyota?

Any input would be of great help. I need to stop the growth of this stuff it is driving me crazy.
