sea hare

Try LiveAquaria, they are out of stock at the moment but if you click the 'email me when in stock' button and they will email you when the item you want is in stock. The downside is that LiveAquaria categorizes it an 'Expert Only' which means that you have got to have at least 3 more years to be an expert. Another downside is that the sea hare can release a toxin into the water if it is shocked, so install a carbon filter just in case it releases the toxin unexpectedly. So do some research before buying. :reading:

Nope. Some species produce ink and opaline, which is used defensively but isn't toxic. It's simply a soup of amino acids that overwhelms the senses of taste of predators and leaves them licking their chops long enough for the slug to get away. Except in VERY small volumes of water where it's concentrated enough to heavily coat the gills of other inhabitants it doesn't pose a risk to the tank.

yea I knew all that..i just wanted to know where to get one...and for one thing noone is an expert at this hobby...and how many years sure doesnt make you one either

LMSO Wrong, there are several experts in the hobby, and Greenbean is one of them in his own (ever-expanding) fields. You could try "thank you" instead of "yea(h) I knew that," it may shorten the time you spend wandering through life thinking there are no experts that you can learn from, since they'll be more likely to share their knowledge with you.

Cheers,

Don

all I was saying is that I asked where to get one and I didnt understand how he can tell me I have 3 years until Im expert...that doesnt even make since..for all he knows I could have studied marine biology for years
