Sea Hares (Bursatella Leachii) FS

While I was in Florida last week, visiting my in-laws, I stopped at my Alma Matre, Eckerd College, in St. Petersburg, where there were hundreds of ragged sea hares, Bursatella Leachii, gliding through the seagrass beds and sand flats, as there usually are this time of year (I remember collecting them for Marine Invert Bio). I brought about a dozen home with me, and put two in my reef and the rest in my refugium. They seem to be doing just fine. They are vegetarians, and should be reef safe. Mine do glide over my corals sometimes, but I don't think they are hurting anything.

I'm going to give a couple to some friends and put one in another tank, but I should still have 5 or 6 extra, if anyone is intersted. I'd be glad to sell them for $5 each or swap them for small SPS/LPS frags/starts. You would need to pick them up in Kent. PM me if interested.

No, not yet. Still unpacking after driving all night. I'll try to post some later, though they may all be spoken for by the time I get the pics up.....

Okay, I give up. I have a file. It is much bigger than 50k. I don't know how to resize it, and I don't know how to make it available. If you want to see it, PM me, and I will email it to you.

BTW, my wife says mangroves are protected in Florida, so I just wanted to be clear: I didn't touch any mangrove trees. I just collected floating propagule while I was wading/fishing.

Jim,
It was nice meeting you, seeing your tanks and doing some trading and buying with you. It's always nice to put a face to the RC screen name! Awesome fish tanks (and fish) and the sea hare's are cool. Hope the frags work out for you. Def recommend checking out the sea hares!
Regards,
John

You can do it in MS Paint.

Open the picture in Paint and then go to Image>Skecth/Skew and enter 30% for Horizontal and vertical and then save. You can then see if it fits. If not, do this again but maybe use 80% so you don't make it too small.

My new addition.....
