sea Hares question?

I was informed that sea hares eats algea, But this one is eating the side of my green star polyp, which i had to remove from my tank. I put algea that a feed the tangs in the tank and she's not eating it. I also put some of the plants in my refugium and red algea and still nothing. What is next?

thats not your average sea hare if it is one at all

The pic you see show her streaching to move to the side class and she also swim like a see hares. I will post more pics after work so you can ID it better.

From the picture, your animal appears to be a Spanish dancer nudibranch. They actually get their name from the way they swim. They will bend their bodies in half from side to side, whereas sea hares have a slit running down their backs dividing it into two wing-like parapodia which they flap while keeping their bodies straight.

Spanish dancers are sponge predators though, so that would explain why it's not touching algae, but not why it's going after green star polyps.
