2 may be 1 or 2 too many for your size tank. They eat a lot and I've never seen one eat introduced foods. Also I think their life span is fairly short anyway and we have no idea how old they are when we receive them. I went through more of them I care to admit before I realized they won't to well long term in my system. If I decide to use one to clean up for me in the future I'd move it from one tank to another as needed instead of 1 per tank. I've found snails and some fish to be better long term workers in my tanks and at least the fish I'm able to supplement their diets.
