sea horse

The tail, wherever, just smoosh em a little so they can't swim as quickly, but not so much that they sink.

Like i said, it has nothing to do with whether they actively bother him, it has to do with him being stressed by them. Fast moving fish can stress a seahorse, regardless of if they are interacting with the seahorse at all. Right now, you are trying to get him to eat. He has already gone far too long without food, and may not pull through even if you do get him to eat, so the situation needs to be perfect and completely stress free. Having stressful fish around isn't a perfect situation. Can't you put him in a 10 gallon or a cooler or something with an airline and do daily water changes? If not, get him back to the store where he can eat. The problem right now is I can't tell if he is eating copepods he is finding in your tank, or if he isn't eating at all. If he isn't eating at all, you should have started tube feeding him a couple days ago, and will need to start tube feeding him now to give him any chance at all. Seahorse digestive systems shut down after 4 days without food. They are not a fish that you can wait out on feeding, or that can be okay going off food for a while. What does his poo look like?

i dont know if hes getting aany food but i think he is getting some...hes still really active not lethargic...im going to try to feed him again later today
