So yesterday they started to close their polyps. During the night it looked as if they where in a sort of transparent cocoon. Most of them fell off during the day. Not really nice to look at, but! you can already see new ones. Tiny ones at the end of the arms. Crossed fingers that they will grow.

its truly amazing. Its renewing itself. The cocoon is going away. All heads fell of. Just have a look at the picture.

As you can see there is still a bit of coating. Growth is rather quick. Color is really cool.

I got my lollipop today from DD. Very cool little critter. Looks like at least some of the heads may come off. But now I know not to freak out, they will grow back.

Also got my first lace coral, very blue & very pretty!

Hi Gary,
I am also a bit speechless. It must have had everything already developed inside and then just pushed it out. Just image that with for example our fingers. A bit crazy
Today I started with the phyto feast. My Menella has a very good response on that. I will see how everything else is responding. I am using 3 teespoons for my 60g tank. I am also continuing with the Fauna stuff as this seems to work just fine with the Sea Fans and I guess it doesnt do any harm to the lollypop

That really is amazing that they can grow new heads that fast.

Mine dropped all of it's heads in 36 hours. They already have tiny new heads forming. I'll have photos next week, I forgot to bring macro lens home this weekend. Mine looks just like yours though. I really like them! Hope they do as well long term as they seem to do short term.

I'm sorry I haven't taken any pics as yet. My lollipop is doing great! All the heads came off, but they have all grown back & bigger than they were when it came in. I will try to take new photos tomorrow. I really like the lollipop!

It started again. All heads are gone. New ones are already there. I cant believe it. How often is this going to happen?

It must be normal! At least I hope so because all the heads came off mine yesterday. I was just about to take some pics & heads started looking odd, next morning gone.

Any one else, does yours do this from time to time?

I don't know how or why they drop their heads & grow new ones, & so fast too.

mine lost its heads the 3rd time. Its happening so often, but it seems to be ok. Yours is looking quite a bit different. The colors especially are different. The heads are also a bit different in shape. Are they doing well so far?

YES mine has dropped its heads two or three days after this photo. They are growing back again as well. I guess it's normal, no one seems to know for sure. As long as they keep growing back I guess it will be OK.
