Sea Squirt living on my clam

I have read many posts about other 'harmful' parasites living on clams such as snails, and aptisia. But what about a sea squirt /bi-Valves?

It does not seem to effect the clam and his mantle is always complete opened. When he opens all the way you cant tell the sea squirt is there. I had to wave my hand over the clam to get it to close long enough to take this picture. What do you all think, should I remove the sea squirt or leave it be?

I agree, I have one identical to yours on my corcea and the clam doesnt mind at all. I also have 17 other small, bright pink tunicates on my clam... You didnt get that clam from liveaquaria.com by any chance, did you?

Thanks for all the responses.

I bought the Corcea because I thought the Sea Squirt was kinda cool. Then I read all the post about things that should not live on the shell of the clam and I got worried. Thanks to you I feel better about leaving it be.
