Sea Squirt?

Hey guys,
Just wondering what kind of sea squirts these are? Ive seen these many, many, many times over my years of reefing but never thought to stop and verify what they really are. They popped up in my tank about a month ago and in the past several weeks seem to be multiplying very fast. Im starting to get concerned and even if they arent hamrful (which I dont think they are) I'd like to get rid of them, as they have become quite unsightly in large numbers. Are you referring to the syconoid sponges? aka pineapple sponge?

I THOUGHT it was a sponge but I think you could be right. It does resemble a pineapple shape, which I assume is why its called a pineapple sponge. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

I just leave them alone, are they bothering anything?
