Sea Urchin vs Anemone?

Ok so my husband wanted an urchin in the tank. I saw him poke the anemone a little and now the anemone has an area of puffy stuff coming out of him possibly from the poke. Is that possible? or is it something else? Do you think he will be ok?

a photo would help, can only guess without one. it could be, depends on the size and species of both anemone and urchin. long spine urchins can be trouble for some anemones. conversely, i had a ~15" H. crispa sebae anemone eat a (golf ball size test), rock urchin and spit out the spines.
