Sea weed in aquarium ?

Is anyone here using sea weed in aquarium ? I want to use sea weed in my salt water tank when I get it ready.

what do you you want to use it for? there are lots of macro alages that ppl put into their fuge

I want to use it for nitrite control and other useful stuff that it actually does.

stick to cheato then, that is your best bet for good macro alage. i am not sure how well that kind of seaweed does for nutrient export.

I can get snails that actually eat it and other type of sea algae. But what I don't know if this type of sea weed has been used in aquarium or tested.

I have seaweed's in my tank I like the way they look, it takes a while for them to adjust.
