Seachem Reef Plus for SPS

What has your experience been with using reef plus in an SPS tank. I notice it makes my LPS and softies happy when I remember to throw some in, but did not know if it was helpful for the SPS tank??

Not a fan of Seachem products since finding out that the active ingredient in florish excel (FW plant C supplement) is glutaraldehyde. Since then I've also discovered that the Ca ion their reef calcium is bonded to a sugar molecule. Was wondering what was fueling the GHA growth...

I generally don't even look at Seachem stuff anymore because of these two items. I still use Seachem reef builder for ALK, but only because it's a big tub and it isn't chemically altered, and I don't like to waste money. Will get something else for this as well next time. sorry to go slightly OT on you.
