Seachem Test Kit

Has anyone had experience with Seachem Test kits? I have had my 29 gal. reef tank setup for only about 2 1/2 weeks with 4 damsels in it and I'm getting next to 0 readings for Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate. I've never used a test kit like this. I followed all the directions exactly. Just not sure my levels could be that low yet.

Depending on the source of live rock, this is quite possible to never see any ammonia. Damsels are the devil, I'd always suggest letting the tank run fishless at first if you have a good source of rock, and feed it periodically.

I started the tank with dry rock. Didn't want to have to deal with any hitchhikers. Damsels will be getting pulled out as soon as I can catch them. I will probably have to take all the rock out during my next water change to be able to get them unless someone else has a better idea.

Then give it some time. Pretty much any of the ammonia kits give a reasonable number (though API always reads a little ammonia in salt water)
