seahorse feeding station

Does anyone know where to get one? I haven't been able to find anything.

Very easy to make one. I made the one for my erectus tank by gluing a small cleaning magnet to a long bird seed dish. I get the food to the dish by means of an one inch air lift tube.

Kind Regards,

Tim

I got mine from the kitchen

Mine is a giant mushroom coral. OR toadstool coral? It serves as a dish and looks natural. If the food is uneaten, the coral gets it. Cool searhorse pics ALLmost.

I use a big clam shell I found, of all places, in the backyard of my Mom's house when I was digging in her garden. I put it right in the middle of the rock column, and it works great:

I had a clam shell also. That worked just fine. I forgot about that. Novahobbies are your dragonettes eating live food or frozen mysis? I wanted to add a couple in my seahorse tank.

what a great idea!
Could you please say where you purchased all the pieces to make this? I have 27 seahorses and I'm always looking for something like this.

Sorry, I missed your post. I cut all of the acrylic from 1/4" sheet and epoxied it to a glass cleaner magnet and got the shell from Michael's. I switched over to an abalone shell because it's deeper and holds the food better.

How did you configure the mechanics, it looks like its on some kind of a hinge?

I saw this online and decided to make my own. The seahorses often sit in the shell when they are hungry:)
