Seahorse ID?

I've been reading the threads here for the past two months in anticipation of getting a seahorse of my own. Well, my wish has been granted as I received my seahorse today. I inherited the seahorse from a kind gentleman who said that it was an erectus. However, with all the research I've done today I'm not completely convinced that it is an erectus. Would anyone know what kind of seahorse it is based on these pics:

I want to find her a mate asap. But I want to make sure I get the right one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

He's a male, and looks like reidi or kuda to me but I'm not that good at ID. He is a good looking seahorse whatever he is.

yep male is right. for further refrence males have the extended pouch femals stomack ends as a clear curve of the belly. males belly extends down much further. heres a thread that will add to you research and will be better and clear. actually it a bad site but clear as all should be as sexing the horses.

Thanks for all your input. It is much appreciated. The belly is not as pronounced as it is in the picture when looking at it in the tank. But I was told that it was a female.

Thanks again.

Well, I'm agreeing with DanU considering he breeds these guys; thanks Dan for the ID. I was browsing through a LFS this afternoon and they happen to have a female Reidi that looked the same as my male. So, I purchased it.

Here's a pic of the seahorses together within 5 minutes of introducing the new female to the tank:

And here's a pic of them eating together about 5 hours later:

Hopefully, they'll mate eventually...I'll keep you posted...

Thanks everyone for looking.

I did a FW dip as I don't have a QT tank setup yet. I was anxious and finding that seahorse was definitely unexpected and I couldn't pass it up. Hopefully, I won't be paying the ultimate price in the long run...
