Seahorse & Lionfish?

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has ever had first hand experience with a lionfish in a seahorse tank. I would like to give it a try however, I would not like the seahorse to be a meal for a lion. Even a dwarf lion?

If this is a serious question..... no, seahorses and lionfish (even dwarf lionfish) are not compatable tankmates.

You need to do some more research before getting seahorses if you don't know the awnser to that question....

Chillax homies.

He/she asked and is not doing it. My first seahorse came out of a LFS display that had about 20 seahorses and 2 volitan lions. The LFS recommended the lions so the seahorses could perch on the spines. I'm serious.

They moved the lions after the lions kept eating the seahorses, but if I hadn't seen it I might have gone that way and made that mistake too.

The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked. Or any of the ones that pledosophy guy asks, that guy is a moron.

No, the mandarin gobies are aggressive toward conspecifics.

Nope. Peppermint shrimp are good though. So are some sand sifters.
