Seahorse & Lionfish?

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has ever had first hand experience with a lionfish in a seahorse tank. I would like to give it a try however, I would not like the seahorse to be a meal for a lion. Even a dwarf lion?

Thanks everyone for looking

If this is a serious question..... no, seahorses and lionfish (even dwarf lionfish) are not compatable tankmates.

Chillax homies.

He/she asked and is not doing it. My first seahorse came out of a LFS display that had about 20 seahorses and 2 volitan lions. The LFS recommended the lions so the seahorses could perch on the spines. I'm serious.

They moved the lions after the lions kept eating the seahorses, but if I hadn't seen it I might have gone that way and made that mistake too.

The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked. ;) Or any of the ones that pledosophy guy asks, that guy is a moron. ;) ;)

I was wanting to know if a lab puppy and a mandarin goby were compatible? I have a 55 gallon tank with T5 lighting running...

Is a madarin good for cleaning up the missed mysis my ADD horses leave behind. "OOh a mysis, wait two, I'll eat the third."

Nope. Peppermint shrimp are good though. So are some sand sifters.
