Seahorse Set Up

I really want to set up a new tank. Ive wanted to set up a SH tank for a few years now, since I was stationed in NC, and seen my first one. But while I was in the Army it wasn't possible, I was gone too much. Now I'm out and have time, I'm going to set one up. Been researching tons, looking at photos and all that jazz. Also, I'm really wanting to start my first real build thread with it. But I cant make up my mind on which tank I want to go with. I have a 54 corner, and a 47 tall. I know that the taller the tank the better or so Ive read. But can I get away with the 54? I recently just started thinking of the 54, Ive been dead set on the 47T, but the 54 has more tank space I believe. The 47T's footprint is 20x18x30, the 54 is 38 x 27 x 22. Any suggestions for which tank to go with? And overall suggestions for the set up?

Thank You,
Aaron

Good luck man,

I bought a tank and hauled it around with me for 4 years before I got out of the army. Like you, I never comfortable enough to set it up.

Either one of those would work well. You have almost 2ft height on the corner. I say do which ever one you think you would like best. IMO both tanks are good to go.

And Thanks for your service!

Seahorse are easy if you build the tank to suit them IME.

I think the height on the corner tank would be fine. To deep of a tank makes maintence harder IME
