Seahorses and Sea Hares

This evening I noticed that a sea hare found its way into my seahorse tank on some Maidens Hair Macroalgae. I did some research on the species and found that they release a toxic ink like chemical when stressed or injured. I also read that sea hares are beneficial in an aquarium. My question is will this ink that the sea hare releases harm my seahorses? Should I remove the sea hare from my tank or be concerned about the sea hare sharing a tank with my seahorses? Thanks for your help!!

the size of your tank can help determine that .i know Sea Cucumbers are said to be safe as long as its not a small tank the toxin will disperse. i would think a seahare would be the same unless their toxin is stronger.

I lost a sea hare in my SH tank once with no issues other than the purple dye it released. The tank had central filtration and a skimmer though
