Would this work? I'm plumbing an old 10 gallon tank to my 65 gallon reef tank and am going to use it to grow frags (star polyps, candy canes, monti digitus) as my 65 gallon is getting overgrown. The 10 gallon will have 65 watts PC over it. The 65 gallon is 4 years old and is kept at 79 degrees.
I'm thinking of putting some dwarf seahorses in the 10 gallon with the frags. I figure that the water parameters will be stable because I will have a 75 gallon system, and the seahorses will be able to eat since they have no competition from the main tank.
Is this foolish for the seahorses? I'm going ahead with the frag tank, just thought it would work to have some seahorses as well.
Thanks.
