SeaLife possible order

Here are a few cautions on your list in case you were unaware.

Lettuce Sea Slug - They have a tendency to get sucked into powerheads.

Yellowhead Jawfish - They require a deep sandbed and are known for carpet surfing.

Urchins - They are good for algea control, but also have a tendency to eat coraline algea.

On another note, I will be placing the order through Reef Science right now, as I just found out they are having Free Shipping! If anyone else is interested in getting in on the order LMK and I will add your items.

If everyone already has Paypal, putting together a group order is really easy with SeaLife. When checking out, under "Shipping Options" select "Prepaid Shipping - Combined Order eBay", then in the comments section put "CIMA group buy. Whoever is receiving the order will select "Overnight - FedEx Priority $27" and put "CIMA group buy" in the comments section. Then complete check out like normal.

It's really pretty simple. Also, if anyone has issues with their order he will be able to credit back directly to that person. There was a slight mix-up on our last group buy and as a result I have a $15 store credit to use. The guy is pretty good, but mistakes do happen and it is easier to deal with if you have an account with him. If anyone needs a personal walkthrough over the phone to make sure they submit their order correctly, feel free to call me (217) 778-2057.

Of course this only works if you have Paypal. No credit or debit cards (unless you go through Paypal) and we probably can't wait on someone to send him a money order :).

Anyhow, that's how we did the last group buy and everyone got everything that was ordered and the one mix-up was handled easily. OK, well I'm off to help a buddy move, I'll check back on here later to see how everyone wants to do this.

Leland, what are you wanting to order? Is it something I can keep in my system and/or sump until you return?

I'm looking at placing the order tomorrow.

As stated previously, I think it would be a lot simplier if we just placed one combined order and paid via paypal once.

Rick,

I would like to order Giant Sun Polyp, Sm Cluster ($15) and Blue Zoanthid, Sm Cluster ($25).
Do you want me to send you the money or place the order online?

Thanks,
Leland

I want to order too. I was hoping you would look at my list and give me your thoughts on my potential purchases. I left the list a couple of posts ago. Then I will send you a final list in a pm.

Leland I got it, when I have a few minutes tonight I'll sit down and get a gestimate for you and reply.

Zak yes, I got yours.

Michelle I saw your post; I think Zak replied to it and I think Leland did as well. I didn't have anything further to say that they didn't, thus the reason why I did say anything. To be honest, I think the two that did reply probably have more insight than I right now. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with your order. I was planning on getting the jawfish as well, but decided I probably should only add one fish right now and I wanted the angel. Remember with the Jawfish (I don't know if you read up on it or not, I had to look it up in my books) you need 3-4 inches or more of sandbed because it is going to want to dig and make tunnels and a den. Pretty much like the diamond goby and engineer goby. You will want your rock work not sitting on top of any sand, but rather have the bottom of the rock work pretty much through the sand and on the bottom glass. This way when it starts digging its tunnels it doesn't topple your rockwork and make it fall against the glass sides!! :( Someone also said it may nip at some corals. The book I was reading last night said there was a chance it might and might not. I think it is the luck of the draw and the fish. I was thinking about getting an urchin as well, but my significant other (which thinks they are really cool) didn't think it would be a good idea if I was going to be putting my hand/arm into the tank. (I think she doesn't want me to get poked/stung). I don't know if I have enough algae to have one or not. I guess I could over feed and solve that problem :) but I probably shouldn't. It might be a future purchase. I'll see how yours does!! :) So, if it were me I'd probably one get one urchin right now. I think the rest of the order would be okay. By the way, if you want to look up any fish in a reef fish book in the future let me know and you can use mine.

Everyone Check my previous post and make sure I have down what you are wanting. Michelle, I don't have yours posted yet because I don't know for sure what you are wanting to order.

Rick,

I have picked these urchins up in the wild and not been stung..... so no worries on that part. Redvipe and I are still discussing my order, QT, dipping etc. I will send you my final order in a bit. Do you have the solution to dip the corals? I am only ordering one and thought I might save a few bucks if you would have some i could dip in when they arrive. Thanks for handeling all of this!

Nope, I don't have teh sol yet to dip in. Actually, I had forgotten about that. I'll put them in my quarentine tank initially until I can get them dipped.

When he ships the snails does he seperate each order into seperate bags, or will we have to pick them out when they show up?

Rick, do you know yet whether it is coming tomorrow morning or Wednesday morning? Either is fine, just curious. Guess I'm getting antsy.
