Seam Burst, how to make the most out of a bad situation

So, I'm in this position where I'm draining my tank, because I need to reseal it.
I had an established reef with lots of sps and anemones, i had a refugium and a nice big sump. I was starting to run into a hair and bubble algae problem as well as my tank had some of these giant worms! I think they were bristle worms. I've moved all my rock out, but still have sand in my aquarium.

What do you recommend for me to do to make the best out of this situation?

Thank you so much.

Harmless bristle worms...
A large population of them + algae typically implies too much food and less than optimal nutrient levels...
You will need to address those..

I have a lage all over my live rock, but I also have coral. What's the best way? Should I try to chip as much coral off the rock and then sun bleach it?

Reduce nutrients with less feedings and water changes, latter being fastest and easiest way to go about it. How long has the tank been up and running?

Spot treatments of peroxide can work well on algae covered rocks with corals on them. Many corals arent bothered by the peroxide either..
