Sean's 150 Gallon In wall Upgrade!!!

Sean this is why i waited till i had water in it to post any pics, i know how this crowd operates!! Take your time, and do it right the first time. You'll get water on the floor regardless, its a reef thing!

Put a bottle of water in your tank like someone did in one of their thread, when everyone started to ask for water :). Just an idea.

Update the fuge and the frasg tank is full starting on display then let it trickle down to sump will post pics when i fire pump!!!!!!!!!!!!WOOOFRIGGINHOOOO!!!!!!

Makin water, don't ya just love that trickle sound!!! I just added another 30 gal brute for storage, and its on wheels man!!

You outta take a video of the moment of truth... Just remember to close that ball valve on the end of the manifold.... wouldn't want to shoot water out the window!

Got water anyone?????My RO isnt keepin up this is gonna kill me Ive been emptying all my cans in to the system so far there isnt a drop in the big tank eeeeekkkk!!!!!

Be VERY careful. If the water is 110F even for a few minutes, you'll ruin the membrane.

You can always buy water at the LFS or supermarket if you can't wait longer.

Oh so your not worried I have both hot and cold plumbed to my ro so they mix cause in the winter my tap water gets really cold!!!!so I warm it up by crackin the hot open a turn or two

You need to measure the temperature. Your goal temperature would be 76F. That being said, the crap that accumulates inside a water heater is not what I would ever consider reef-safe.

Just grab some snow and shovel it in. As it melts, you'd have a water test in progress. :D
Just make sure to avoid that yellow snow.

I never even consider the hot water heater crud good thinkin Ill quit that rite now ....oh well I think im screwd According to my calculations I need 90 galls to fire this puppy and I am tapped as of now but Tom night Ill have 100 gallon waiting so I guess ill wait give me time to fix that leaky joint I found .....Oh well see

The moment of truth. Always a bit hard to sleep when firing up a new system. May your night be drip free and dry.
