The definition of reef safe, or who gets included, varies depending on who you ask. That plus the enormous number of fish you could theoretically find in the hobby... I can't imagine a "full list" exists.
The reason I wanted a Complete list is so I can see what will work with a reef system without going here and there.
I can find partial lists and "reef safe" catagories on many livestock websites but just wondering if there was a full list out there.
I know some are reef safe, some are reef safe with caution, blah, blah... Some fish people have good luck with..., others not so much.
I just wanted a "General" reef safe fish list.[/QUOTE]
There really is no such thing as 'reef safe'. There's people that put lions, and triggers and all sorts of things in their reef tanks. Like the others have said, this list will depend on a) who you ask and b) what else is in the tank. :fish1:
OK... You guys are reading into this Way to much!!
I could put Any fish in my tank and as long as I feed it well and it doesn't nip at my corals... POOF, he's reef safe if you ask me!
... but just wondering if there was a full list out there.
As was said above, look around at the different categories of fish on sites like liveaquaria.com, bluezooaquatics.com, saltwaterfish.com, themarinecenter.com... they have a pretty good list of available fish, and will list wether they are reef safe or not.
