SEASL Family Outing to City Museum & World Aquarium on Feb 24!!

We'll be meeting on Saturday at 1:00pm in the lobby of the City Museum. The museum is requiring a single payment from SEASL for the entire group, so please bring cash or checks made payable to SEASL for your entrance fees.

If you will be arriving at a time other than 1:00pm, please email Curt at mantisfreak@gmail.com as soon as possible to make arrangements. We cannot guarantee you will receive the group discount if you do not arrive at 1:00 or make other arrangements with Curt.

In the words of Mini Me, "that was totally wicked awesome!!"

We had a blast. The aquarium isn't exactly in showcase form, but petting the stingrays, nursesharks, and climbing through the acrylic tube that's submerged in the big shark tank was worth the trip.

And we had a blast climbing around in the caves, the ceiling, the shoe spirals, etc. Thanks again to Curt for getting this trip off the ground. :thumbsup:

I wish I could have made it. I really wanted to see the aquarium AND the museum with the kids.

I wish we could have handled the group thing better because it was a little confusing at first. However, if we wanted the discount, we had to go by their rules.

Regardless, once I got in, I had a great time. I was also impressed by the performance of the kids in the circus school. For those of you who missed that, if you go again, make sure you check it out.

I was not impressed by the frag tank of the uber-rare cyano-coral.
