Ok folks, here is the thread to list what you are bringing and what you are looking for.

Remember, the frag event includes trades and sales as well as a "free to a good home" table, so feel free to list what you would like for your frags.

I'm sorry but I'm not quite sure I understand the "fixed price raffle"
If you find something you want to buy straight up, you have to buy a raffle ticket and possibly have to win to buy it? Thanks!

I have what i think is a kenya tree that is a pretty descent size. I am in the middle of upgrading tanks and have kinda let my lights over exted their life span by a month. I think it would be better at a new home. I am looking for some colorful zoo's or mushroom frags. for a good sized kenya. I also would like to know what the cost is to become a seasl member since i did not join last time?

Reggae Fish - the fixed price raffle will give everyone an equal chance to purchase frags. One complaint we've had in the past was that the "savvy" reefer had an advantage at the swap and many frags were snatched up before everyone had a chance to see what was available.

If you have a frag to sell, and you want a specific amount for it, you can enter it in the fixed price raffle with your price clearly labeled. If I want that frag, I'll put my name on the list. If my name is drawn from the hat, I will either pay you your asking price for the frag, or, if I'm full of frags or out of cash, I will pass and another name will be drawn. There is no purchase of tickets for this particular raffle.

We wanted to make sure participation was possible for everyone, so there will be multiple tables setup at the event this year. We'll still have a spot for the traditional swap-o-rama, where the wheeling and dealing will take place. :D

JohnB - Individual membership is $10, family membership is $15. It is an annual membership based on your join date, so you won't need to worry about renewal until next May. :)

Cool an-sps! You going to have your own separate table? I wasn't sure if I was going to go or not, but might have to now.

Thanks goodness we have such a big space this year! Are we going to have to arrange for security to sneak you in the back? :D

i won't have anything to sell or swap, but i'm looking to buy!
i think the fixed price raffel is a nifty idea.

I have several toadstools with green polyps, some frags of the scary hand coral (leather) and some interesting cross between xenia and green star ployps. I also have green star polyps. Several frags. All cheap or free.

If I can swing it, I thought I would also bring a few clownfish, if anyone is interested. PM me if you are. $25 each

If I have any phytoplankton, I'll bring that too. $5 for 2 liters. I probably won't have more than a bottle or two. It hasn't been doing well lately.

Cheers,
Kathy

I have over 15 red Montipora capricornis frags im going to bring, ranging from 1" to 3" frags. I'll probably give away a bunch of smaller >1" frags too. I'll also bring a bunch of Brown Sinularia corals ranging from 1''-3''. Since this is my first frag swap, what all do i need to bring with me, other than the corals?

Frags & cash! :D

You'll want to double bag your frags and probably bring a cooler.

Welcome to SEASL - I look forward to meeting you!

This is my first swap as well. From Kathys post, I assume you can bring live stock.

I will bring: a large Hawaiian yellow tang, lrg/med snowflake eel (18 in.+), misc. colored mushrooms, a few purple Kenya trees, grape Caulerpa, and several mangroves with roots and leaves.

I am looking for: several pounds (5-6) of coralline encrusted live rock, live mud (need about 20 lb.), a rotifer culture (cysts or live), an arrow crab, different macroalgaes, some hardy "beginner" SPS,
colorfull LPS and softies, some friendly, intelligent people to trade and talk about our reefs with

I am going to try to get off work that day. If I can come all I will be able to bring is money. Will anyone have any lps stuff? If so please list it.

If I don't work I'll be bringing some kenya's, GSP, Xenia.

I'll be looking for green slimer, montis, and some beginner SPS

I have a rock that has about 400 polyps of these, better blue though
http://www.zoaid.com/index.php?module=pnGallery2&func=main&g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=442
mixed with about 80 of these
http://www.zoaid.com/index.php?module=pnGallery2&func=main&g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=1243
and 120 of these
http://www.zoaid.com/index.php?module=pnGallery2&func=main&g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=100
The 2rocks are about the size of 2 softballs-it might split because they have all grown together.
I am not looking to sell just trade for these-similar # of polyps
http://www.zoaid.com/index.php?module=pnGallery2&func=main&g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=144
or 30 polyps of PPE
or these
http://www.zoaid.com/index.php?module=pnGallery2&func=main&g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=920
You can PM me if you have something that might be a little more exotic and I did not list it
