SEASL Membership Directory

I wanted to see how much interest there is in a Membership Directory on SEASL.org.

Basically, it would show your name and then talk about your tank, inhabitants, systems, testing, etc...

Currently, all we have is the "Member's Tanks" section, which is up to me to revise.

I want to make it accessible to everyone who is a member of SEASL.

Please list any comments...

That would be cool. I've heard of other clubs etc. setting those up. Probably should make it accessable to the casual internet browser vs. just members and leave off email addy's etc. or only have those show up if logged in as a member. I can't remember which club, maybe the DFW, but they had tons of tanks and I think I spent an hour just looking at the eye candy. Might affect the bandwidth charges though! :lol:

I think it would be cool! I think contact info would be helpful. If you could code it like Roy suggested and have profile A available to the general public and profile B available to logged in members, that would be great. :thumbsup:

I can have it so people can EMAIL through a form. They will never know your email unless you want to write them back.

That would be cool because I "think" that stops email addy collectors. But they're tricky and only get better.

So Doc what is your beef with addy collectors? Don't you appreciate receiving those delightful e-mails from total strangers telling you that your wife finds you ... shall we say biologically inadequate ... and offering you the solution in a little green pill? :lol:
