seawater vs. artificial salt.

I pull mine from the Boynton inlet as the tide is coming in about a hour to hour and Half before scheduled high tide been doing it for three years no problem I pull any where from 50 - 200 gallons at a time when I do it. Not hard to do at the Boynton inlet just need a power source ( generator or inverter off your battery) pump a hose and something to limp the water in. At Boynton you can park right on the inlet

i dont care if its hightide or not. the things that are allowed to be dumped off our coast are unbelievable. One of the reasons stony corals are having so much difficulty in our waters

In Boston i used to mix my water, but since i moved to fl, i just buy sea water from my local dealer. I have a couple of friends that have had their tanks for several years (5 years and more) that uses sea water from high tide that are successful.

You are much more likely to put something in your tank from a frag then you are from getting NSW.
