I need some advise on these I tried on back with my old tank and it died within 3 days so After I set up my new 100 gallon got it balanced and running properly, I tried another one, both have been white with purple tips. I did a little research on them and what they like but for some reason the second one died a week after I got it. I have no trouble with the bubble anemone in the tank or the other sorry dont know its name but its got a pink cylinder with white tentacles and purple tips. So can I get someone who is efficiently keeping one and what there doing or some reasons why I may be loosing them as I will not purchase or try another until I fully understand why this is happening or what im doing wrong.

I have a healthy one. They seem to like moderate water flow, in my tank I have undetectable nitrates, I have t-5 lighting. This species often attached to a hole or crevice in the liverock, though sometimes they attach to the bottom of the tank through a sand bed. Temperature around 80F

Perhaps pics and more information about your system could help us help you.

My temp is normally between 78-80max I have no ammonia or detectable nitrates or nitrites I have been fighting phosphates in my old tank but not my new one I was running a tile Les on old tank an incorporated it in with T10s in the new tank. I have tried both sand beds a rock with them I keep my calcium levels at 450-460 an on the first tank wasn't dosing zoomax to feed an am on the new 100 gallon been running now full for a month

I had a sebae once, it did pretty good for a few weeks then it died. I have a mini carpet for over a year no issues ever, got a rbta now for a couple months and it loves my tank. I dont know why, but they seem to do great in some tanks, and not so well in others.

I've been doing really well with my new tank by dropping the new cocky beginner crap an listening. An everything coming along but trying to keep sebae.

A better pic would help with id. Almost looks like an LTA that's not happy (because it's not buried in the sand), but it could be a condy, I suppose.

yeah he hit the sand once dident seam to happy and crawled up on the rock so thats where I have left him, Ill see about a better pic
