My sebae was added last night after extremely carefully acculmation. He(he shot some love juice) attached right away right where i placed him in a high spot in the tank in good flow. His foot is totally attached and intact and colors are great(white/green tint/blue tint) But my question is he keeps expanding and contracting every so often during the light period, at night he is totaly spread out and perfect. I read this is common with newly added anenomes but how long should it last? His mouth it tightly closed and my water is perfect. also my Black and white clown (also added last night) hasnt taken to the sebae yet, is the chances good it will shortly? How long should i wait before i remove the black and white and try another type to see if my luck improves...i kno that its hit and miss with clowns/anemones but i really want to have it in this tank. Thanks alot

I dont think its really hit or miss with clowns at all, in the aquarium Im pretty sure a clown will host anything given the proper amount of time.

He shows interest in my mag float... im not happy with that...so in time he will find the home i want him to have? i dont know if thats totally true...he looks happy under the mag float haha

the anemone sounds pretty happy to me. He will likely inflate and deflate frequently for the first week or two. He will ALWAYS do it occasionally. If his mouth is tightly closed I would go ahead and see if he will eat. That is often the first big hurdle. If he'll eat he has a pretty good chance.

As for hosting your clown. Some take to the anemone right away, some never, some take months. I'd give it atleast 2 months.

It worries me a little that you are already concerned after just one day. Nothing good happens fast in an aquarium.

I'm not worried about the anemones health so much as i just was wondering about the inflateing and deflateing, as it can be a sign of poor health sometimes. I'm planning on feeding soon. as for the clown i really think i wanna find a clown that takes to the anemone right away, becuase i dont wana get attached to this one if he wont haha...thanks guys...any other help is greatly appreciated!
