sebae mouth open

I got a sebae tueday with a small percula that was being hosted by it Tuesday. I drip acclimated it for about 2 hours. I then was able to pick it up without it shrinking and placed it in the display. It tumbled around for a bit and got wedged by a rock. It moved across the tank and now looks like its planted fairly well. The color is nice and dark and its tenticles are long and swaying but its mouth is still wide open. From what I understand it should be closed. Should I be concerned?

tbundy, a picture would help :) I am a little nervous because it says you are a newbie, How long has your tank been established?

the tank is 2 months but most of the rock sand a filtration is from an established tank. My parameters are spot on and have been exactly the same since day 3. I myself am new to the hobby but a family member that i live with is a few years experienced and is well educated. If things get too bad its only 50 feet of walking to get to well established 180g a picture will be posted tomorrow. Won't be home till 2am :(

I am curious to the answer as well. They Sebae is about 6 months in my tank and has grown way too much in that time, but in all this time, his mouth has never been tightly closed.

Sorry gang.. im waiting for him to move to a better spot. he faces directly at the corner where the tank bows so getting a clear look is hard. I am feeding him by hand and has eaten two rather large pieces of tilapia. I was at the pet store where i got it and they look similar. i may not be familiar with the mouth part. Should there be an opening with the mouth inside? Also the foot of the petstore ones is a nice orangie color and mine is a dull pink. Im not running the same light as the LFS he has 50/50 running and i am running 150 watt HQI. Could the lack of actinic be the reason for color difference?

I would never try to keep a Sebae in a 12 gallon, hard to keep the water quality as good as it needs to be for these anemones.
