Sebae placement

I've been having a pretty common issue, my newly purchased H. crispa is not setting its foot. Right now it's sitting upside down on the sand but it looks like the tentacles are all inflated not retracted. Should I leave the anemone alone upside down to figure it out on his own and prevent further stress, or should I place it on the rock and encourage it to stay there?

H. crispa generally like to nestle their foot/column between the sand rock interface. I'd upright it and try to use a smaller branch like piece of rock to temporarily pin it in place till it attaches.
