sebae questions

I have a few qestions about my new sebae anemone, I am currently trying to get her back to full health/color. here are some pics, first and foremost; though she is bleached, her mouth is tightly closed (looks like a nipple) and she seems to be doing well. here are the puctures (will get better one tomorrow, these are the most recent ones I have)

I came home tonight to see the clown with more black (a suspected percXoccy hybrid) hosting in the nem. yay! the second clown (perc) has been sleeping in my frogpsawn for the last few weeks, and is usually somewhere near the frogspawn during the day, which leads me to my questions

how can I get the perc to move and start living in the nem with the second clown?

is feeding every day with either mysis, coctail shrimp or squid chunks okay?

I have noticed that the tenticles are short and stubby during the day and long and thin at night, why is this? does this mean anything, or is it just a natural way to catch more food?

thanks!

here are some pics of what I mean with the teneticles extending more at night (and some of the clown hosting in it) the ones above are from the daytime btw...

not the best, but I tried. one more questions...

does this clown seem like a likely hybrid between A ocellaris and A. percula? she doesnt seem to fit either...

The last pic of the clown looks like a true perc to me. As for the anemone, it looks healthy other than bleached. You asked about feeding every day, a small amount daily might be okay, or you could skip a day between feedings. The food are fine, you might also try silversides.

How are your water parameters, including nitrates and specific gravity? Also, what type of lighting do you have? Assuming the water is in excellent shape and your lighting is sufficient, I think you have a decent chance of getting that sebae to recolonize with zooxanthellae.

the lighting is an 8 bulb current extreme 48" T5HO fixture. currently, 2 of the 10K bulbs are not woking, but I am going to get that figured out tomorrow.

water params are
ammonia- 0
nitrite- 0
nitrate- 0
phosphate- 0
calcium- 485 (ish)
alkalinity- 2.40
KH- 6.7
SG- I think about 1.025

the temp has been a bit unstable, but I am also going to figure that out tomorrow!

o, and for the clown sp. ID, here is a pic I have of that one (the one with more black) next to my A. percula

as you can see, the nose/head is more blunt, and body type is far more like my A. ocellaris (who was paired w/ the clown previously before she got too aggressive) though the coloring is more like my A. percula...

T5s should be fine. Those 10,000K bulbs might help the anemone get its zooxanthellae back, so maybe try to get some new ones and pop them in. Thanks for posting your water parameters, they look good overall; however, the alkalinity looks a little low. You might want to adjust that slowly or just do some water changes with a good salt mix that is well buffered. You think the sg is 1.025? That one is the easiest to check. I would want it 1.026ish if it were me. You said the temp has been unstable. I'm glad you're working to correct that, I don't think anemones appreciate to much instability in that dept.

As for the clowns, I'm not the best at id'ing. I would look at that last pic and say you have two percs myself.

okay, thanks! is there any reasons that one might have a blunter nose? thanks!

also, I think the short tenticles are a sign of starvation right? I fed a piece of cocktail shrimp today and they got longer for a while.

Short tentacles on H. crispa are common if there isn't a clown living in it. I've also seen pics in the wild of H. crispa, with clowns, and still short tentacles. So, like bulbs on BTAs, it seems to vary from situation to situation. Since your clownfish are being hosted by the anemone, assuming all goes well and it colors back up, my guess is the tentacles will get longer in time.
