Second Cycle?

So I went through my cycle and now have snails, hermits and two clowns. All parameters had been perfect but I just tested it and pH was 8.2 but ammonia was about .25ppm, nitrites .25 ppm and nitrates 20ppm. Why would the numbers come back up like this?

Anything I should do? Thanks.

I always send without all of the info I could provide.

16g nuvo with 12lbs of live rock. Fish have been in there a week. I did just have a snail die. Could that spike them a bit?

Well, at this point water changes are about your best friend. Anything dying in a small tank can be problematic.

I would dose with Amquel or one of the other ammonia neutralizing products. You probably stocked too much livestock into your tank too quickly. Take things slow, adding fish quickly can overwhelm the bacteria and start a new cycle

Definitely do a water change and dose Amquel to lower ammonia.
