Second driver......

So Tim was kind enough to over night the replacement driver.

Well it was for nothing. Same problem as the 1st one. Lights flash through the cycle and then nothing.

Needless to say, my frustration at this point is fairly high.

Just wanted to update everyone on my experience.

Sorry your second driver did not work out for you. What was the secret to getting the replacement? My defective replacement still has not shown up even though it has been a week.

Well after Fuppets made a trip out from IN to me, we have a unit up and running.

It turns out, that the DRIVERS....are both fine. This was not my issue at all. The issue was a loose wire in the connector that plugs into the driver. So the initial thought of a driver issue was in fact a mechanical issue.

My frustration clouded my judgement to further evaluate this issue and I posted too quickly with this thread.

Great thanks and props go out to Tim for doing everything he could to help me out.

As of right now with the pump running for about 30 minutes or so....NICE...well worth the wait for sure. I think I will be buying a second one. I am that happy with it already. I need to do some more tweaking of placement and settings, but man I am one happy camper. ;)

Thank you Tim for the help and a great product. Any of you that have doubts, take advice from the biggest skeptic to hit this forum so far...(ME of course) and buy one. Well worth every penny.

Thanks,

Todd

Hi Todd,

Believe me I'm very relieved that everything is working out for you after all. I made a bad judgment to assume it was a driver issue without evaluating the complete problem with you. This is precisely why Dave in our service department always requests that he sees an entire pump before making a decision on which part is attributing to the problem. I handled your case directly and made a mistake.

I apologize for this and I am very happy to see that Fuppets got you set up right!

Tim, I could have helped the situation better if I had investigated a little more on my end.

Your attention to my issue and the need to take care of me is greatly appreciated beyond any words typed on a screen could relay and shows your commitment to the customers and there satisfaction with your product.

Thank you very much Tim. You now have another PROUD and SUPPORTIVE customer.

Todd, please give me a bit more info on the loose wire. I am still myself in the early learning stages of working with the WWD and any new info will help me greatly. I myself would have assumed it was a bad WWD. Exactly what was loose and what should I look out for should this issue arise in the future.

The purple wire going into the connector was not secured properly. I did not notice it at all until Fuppets and I were looking at it today. He noticed the wire sticking out. I don't have the proper tool to pull that connector out and crimp it or I would give it a try. I am sure this is better left to you guys to fix though anyway.

Thanks,

Todd
